Update?

How is it that June is almost over? Which means that 2023 is almost half over? That seems fake. Anyway: I've been busy!

Fests (Mod):

• Chan Fest (Winter 2022-2023): done! Co-modded with Cindle/eleven_eaves. I got more of content I love and also supported others in creating very questionable/problematic/etc. content. Which was scary, since people are gonna be judgey and rude. But also super fulfilling! It's important to me to stand by, and stand up for, my beliefs, and proudly associating myself with very dead dove content? Very cool!
• HP Fruit Fest (Spring 2023): done! As in: just wrapped up! And I ran it solo!! Extra not fun because I do not like to be in charge, actually, but I did support the creation of more content I love...this time in the very wholesome realm of fruit! Had some hiccups along the way since I'm still learning but all in all not too shabby!
• Definitely plan to bring both back next year!

Fests (Participant):

• Wrote 3 fics for Chan Fest
• Wrote 3 fics for Fruit Fest
• 2 of the 3 Fruit Fests fics were also for HP Flowers
• Snarry-a-Thon: Devotion, companion piece to my beloved Contempt! 
• Snarry Bang: Rough draft done and edit nearly done. It's going to a beta after this, which is scary. But my teammate started working on the art for it and whoo-boy!! I am stoked!
• NO MORE FESTS AFTER THIS I SWEAR TO GOD. 
• good thing I don't believe in god since I'm inevitably going to break my word on that
• But idk let's hope not, I can't handle this stress!!!!

WIP:

• Snarry Bang: In Edit
• Project Three of Hearts: outline done, 2/25 chapters written, 0 posted yet! Still need to title this dang thing. 
• smile with sweet surprise: chapter 3 in progress. 2 chapters posted.
• Project KidFic: rough outline in progress
• Project Chaos Theory: very rough outline
• Cruel Summer sequel: early outline stage
• Project Sugar Daddy: outline mostly done. 2 chapters written. 
• Contempt/Devotion sequel: early outline stage

Meta to AO3

• Need to edit more of my HP Astro posts to add to the AO3 work. My hatred of editing is slowing me down haha.
• Need to spruce up my meta on Pureblood Society to post.
• Need to complile my various Snarry squeeing into a good ship manifesto I can post
• Need to add more to my "Making of Contempt" series meta....or get really embarrassed and delete the whole thing LOL. 
• Need to write up extra meta bits for Snarry Bang fic

Recs:

• ....truly I have too many rec lists and don't feel like going over all of them
• I did a Snarry-a-Thon 2023 rec list!
• Would in theory like to do more Thon rec lists. Idk if one per year, or maybe one highlighting one fic from each year? Undetermined right now.
• Fairytales: I have a Snarry Fairytale Rec List up and a Femslash Fairytale...A regular Slash one was in progress but I might need to break it up further into Drarry, Tomarry, and Rare Pairs. We shall see! 
• Snarry for Beginners Rec list (+ Intermediate + Advanced, inspired by aethon-recs and sitp-recs on Tumblr.) Beginner list is finished and queued up for sometime in July. The other 2 I'll get to....eventually? 
• Other ship specific rec lists (Drarius, Dremus, Dron, etc.) (Wow is my Draco love showing??)

TBR/Notion:

• I've hardly read anything at all this year, but hoping to tackle more of my TBR!
• This will in theory be aided by Notion, which the lovely Scarlet showed me and helped me get set up! Just need to spend more time playing in it...I do organization! 

Bookbinding: 

• Bound 3 books this year! Then got distracted. So far I have The White Road, Fragile Hearts, and Chrysalis. I was in the middle of a typesetting for In Between Days when LIFE got me. 
• With luck I can work more on bookbinding once I get Snarry Bang finished! 
• I have a whole list of fics I want to bind but I really need to invest in better leather. The bulk of what I have is a bit thick for bookbinding!

• ngl probably other playlists I've forgotten about. I really like music, okay? 

I've definitely done more than I've listed (but I'm not going to sit here and dig out every fic I've posted this year.) (and obviously I didn't list all my rec lists.) But you know I figure I'm doing pretty well! I'm very excited to be able to focus more on Three of Hearts. I've got a writing penpal now that's been fun! As ever I'm just flailing around trying new things and checking out new things and try to focus on having fun and connecting with folks! I feel like a giant mess but I'm in great spirits and feeling very inspired currently!
